About Overtime Sports Bozeman

Meet the OTS team

The idea for Overtime Sports OTS came about when League Commissioner Paul Churchill unsuccessfully tried to register for a volleyball, soccer and flag football team. I was new to Bozeman Montana and thought the best way to meet new friends was to join a rec sports team, which was exactly what didn't happen. Instead I was forced to frequent local bars tapping people on the shoulder asking them if they wanted to be my friend, which didn't always result in a new friendship as you can imagine. With that said, Let's meet the staff and creators of Overtime Sports Bozeman.

Paul Churchill commisioner of Over time Sports Bozeman

Paul Churchill (Commssioner of Great Times)

Originally from Edwards Colorado, Paul came to Bozeman Montana to be a graduate assistant with the MSU football team. When the season ended, he decided that Bozeman is the greatest place on earth and decided to stay. Paul played sports at the high school and collegiate levels but prefers to round the bases after booting a kick ball into the upper layers of the stratosphere (10 feet above ground). Paul is a firm believer that rec sports is a perfect way to stay in shape, meet great people in the community of Bozeman and boost self confidence.

Steve Klopmeyer (Director of Awesomeness)

Steve is a transplant from the greater Chicagoland area and has been in Bozeman for over a year. He has a very similar story to a lot of transplants to Bozeman. He came here on vacation and never left. As much as he would love to be out on the field playing with everyone he thoroughly enjoys organizing leagues on the administrative end. After running a sand volleyball league back in Illinois he came to Bozeman and ran a co-ed Kickball league and realized why not try and do this full time and why only kickball. Steve is here to help you with any concern you might have and would love to hear any and all suggestions for leagues.
